Genova: a couple of mins walk away from the city, and it’s already the nature and the breath-taking sea.
The path rapidly climbs, hiding quickly the city from the view and leaving you alone with the view. It is marked with a visible E1 sign every 20-50m, black on a white field.
The E1 European long distance path, or just E1 path, is one of the European long-distance paths designated by the European Ramblers’ Association with a total length of some 4,960 km. It begins in Norway at Nordkapp, and crosses Kattegat between Sweden and Denmark by ferry. It passes through Denmark, Germany and Switzerland to finish at Scapoli, Italy. This path is planned to be extended southwards to Sicily, in Italy.
a little ambitious for now, but good to know.
